Three sisters might have a solution to Auckland’s housing woes and sustainable living with their tiny house.

The home on wheels parked up at the Piha Domain camp-ground took two years to complete.

Sisters Camilla, 29, Becky, 27, and Anna-Rose Rombouts, 25 started building it after becoming interested in the idea of simplified living.

“We didn’t have enough money to buy in the Auckland market so we put our money together to build our own tiny house to see how it would go,” Camilla says.
