Are you curious about building a granny flat in your backyard, living in a tiny house on wheels or perhaps developing a small home community?
Consider attending the Build Small Lecture Series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 6, May 11, May 25 and June 8 at the Northwest Woodworking Studio in Southeast Portland.
The four talks by local experts will include information on zoning rules, building codes and designing a legal, small home that meets your needs.
Each lecture is $20 (attend four lectures for the price of three by registering by April 5 at PADtinyhouses.com).
“The lecture series is a primer on the major small housing types and an opportunity to meet local experts in the field,” says Billy Ulmer, co-owner of Portland Alternative Dwellings (PAD Tiny Houses), which is organizing the series.
